In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On November 26, 2018, officers arrested Tommy W. Mitchell, 44, of Norman, Oklahoma, charging him with Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On November 27, 2018, officers responded to 108 South Grand concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a purse and all of its contents. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On November 27, 2018, officers responded to 312 West US 54 Highway, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported larceny (shoplifting). The investigation revealed the theft of packaged meat product and a bottle of alcoholic beverage. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On November 28, 2018, officers arrested James D. Sprinkle, 29, of Joplin, charging him with Driving While Suspended. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On November 28, 2018, officers responded to 312 US 54 Highway, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported larceny (shoplifting). The investigation resulted in the arrest of Tammy S. Curtner, 49, charging her with stealing (shoplifting). She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On November 30, 2018, officers responded to the 100 block of W. Walnut concerning a reported domestic assault. A suspect has been identified, report taken and the investigation continues.

On December 1, 2018, officers responded to 410 S. Summer concerning a delayed report of a burglary, with a larceny, that occurred on November 30, 2018. The investigation revealed the theft of $200.00 in cash. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

On December 1, 2018, officers responded to 315 East Fields, Apartment C, concerning a reported domestic assault. A suspect has been identified,a report taken and the investigation continues.

On December 1, 2018, officers responded to 1102 S. Jackson concerning a reported motor vehicle theft that reportedly occurred between the hours of 3:00 PM on November 30, 2018, to 6:00 PM on December 1, 2018. The investigation revealed the theft of a black, 2010, Triumph motorcycle with a Missouri License of DW8DC. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On December 2, 2018, officers responded to 602 S. Jackson concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a approximately $10.00 in change, and a gray Nike backpack, containing a black, HTC cell phone, a black Samsung cell phone, a blue calculator, school text books, a chess board, and a mixture of pens and pencils. A report taken and the investigation continues.
