Valentine’s day carnations are read at the Library

OK – ready, set, go. Start making your list for Valentine’s Day. The Friends of the Library will sell red carnations again this year and deliver them in town on Valentine’s Day, Thursday, Feb. 14. Every vase of red carnations means more books to be read at the library.

For $10 you will get 2 red carnations, with babies breath, greenery and a bow in a bud vase. All you have to do is stop by KESM and fill out the cards and pay the $10 each. Easy, simple, pretty. After that you do nothing except get thanked by the receivers of the flowers. We’ll do all the delivering.

Remember that sweetheart, spouse, restaurant server, friend, employee. Everybody loves to receive flowers. Oh, and don’t forget it’s an easy way to thank volunteers that have helped you. You can even order for students and teachers. Flowers for everyone.

Plus you help the library since $5 of each purchase goes to purchase books, for maintenance on the library to bring entertainment to the library that may be attended for free, and much more.

Order your flowers by coming by KESM at 200 Radio Lane or call Sue Kohn at 876-1914 or call Janice Carter at 876-3135.
