Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church Sunday morning service was by Pastor Larry Sorrells entitled “Small Things” The Christmas Story; Christmas Eve Services were celebrated.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home met Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. to study the Bible with 12 in attendance.

Mt. Zion Club met Dec 19, at the Marge Zink home and car pooled to Dietz Family Buffet in Clinton for our Christmas meeting after a delicious lunch; some enjoyed shopping before returning home. Next meeting will be Jan. 16, at Marge Zink home for an afternoon meeting.

The Mt. Zion area had beautiful weather for Christmas.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey enjoyed Christmas dinner with son, Gregg, in Springfield.

Family and friends gathered in the Marge Zink and Stacy and Mike Griffith homes on Sunday to celebrate Christmas dinner.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm Belle has decided she would like to ride in the car like “Petey” does, only Robin doesn’t have a chore truck; so maybe Belle wants to go shopping. Fisrt time Belle ever jumped into the car; never the less, Belle is still walking.

Recent visitors in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home has been Brenda Peterson of Richmond and Kent Crawford; Dixie is still doing therapy.

John and Julia Snethen had Christmas Eve lunch at Dietz in Clinton with Michael, Grace and Logan Snethen and Ron Thompson and friends. Christmas Day was spent with Ron.
