God scored a touchdown for Herriman Chapel this weekend. On Saturday, Herriman Chapel was host to a surprise birthday party celebrating one of our oldest members, Cletis Hackleman, that was set up by her family and attended by numerous friends as well as the local church family.
Sunday morning, God’s presence was especially near as we focused on giving married couples a meaningful time to worship Christ. While the adults worshipped in the sanctuary, the children enjoyed a special program in the cafeteria where they learned more about God’s love.
God blessed our efforts with one of our largest Sunday morning attendances for several months, as well as an awareness by all that God was with us. During this service, we also took time to honor Cletis with a slideshow tribute, which included her personal testimony.
We thank God for his blessings on Herriman Chapel and look forward to discovering how he will continue to work in and through us in the coming days.
