Rockville United Methodist Church Sunday service was conducted by Pastor Larry Sorrells was titled “It is Well” from Luke 9: 28-36.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home at 7 pm with nine in attendance.

Mt. Zion Club will meet in the Marge Zink home the first day of spring March 20.

With March coming in like a lion I do hope it goes out like a lamb; but I do remember snow and cold on the first day of snagging season in years past.

Do hope you remembered to spring your clocks forward.

Several from the area attended the VFW and Ladies Auxiliary Thursday meeting held at the Christian Fellowship Hall in Appleton City; first Thursday of the month at 6:30 supper 7:30 meeting.

Brenda Peterson from Richmond visited in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home; Stacy and Mike Griffith were visitors as well.

Marge Zink visited with Patty Estes Lades from Washington State last week in Osceola, Patty was here during her daughter’s illness and passing, our sympathy to the family.

Over at the Robin Siegismund farm Belle and Robin are still waiting for spring, Belle is back to complaining about the mud again, Belle thinks she is getting spring fever like Robin.

The 30th anniversary celebration of the St Clair County Quilt Guild was well attended and very nice, Marge Zink, Donna Harris, Vickie Galubski, and Stacy Griffith were in attendance.

Attendance at exercise class at Elliot Memorial Hospital has increased, maybe people are coming out of hibernation getting fit for spring.

John and Julia Snethen attended the Chapter # 73 fundraiser on Saturday morning but were home in the afternoon totally wore out but have been resting since.
