In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On March 25, 2019, officers arrested Jamie L. Swager, 41, of El Dorado Springs for a Cedar County Felony Probation Violation Warrant, charging her with Distributing a Controlled Substance Near Schools with no bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On March 26, 2019, officers arrested Jacob J. Patalsky, 37, of El Dorado Springs for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Trespassing, with a $2,007.00 bond. He was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On March 27, 2019, officers arrested Joshua V. Whittle, 37, of El Dorado Springs for a Camden County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Failure to Wear a Seatbelt, with a $50.00 cash bond, and, a Miller County Felony Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Unlawful use of a Weapon, with no bond. He was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending extradition, bond, and court appearances.

On March 27, 2019, officers responded to 511 South Main, Apartment 1, concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a pair of black, ONN over the ear headphones. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On March 28, 2019, officers arrested Tyler M. Wilkins, 27, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Probation Violation Warrant on the original charge of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On March 28, 2019, officers responded to 204 North Grand concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a chainsaw. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On March 28, 2019, officers responded to 107 West Lafayette concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of a magazine filled with .380 ammunition, a pack of Burley Cigarettes, and a ten pack of Kayak Chewing Tobacco. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On March 28, 2019, officers arrested Robert V. Jadlot, IV, 28, of El Dorado Springs for a Vernon County Felony Warrant, charging him with Probation Violation with the original charges of Burglary and Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, with no bond, a Vernon County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Domestic Assault, with a $1,000.00 cash bond, a Cedar County Warrant charging him with Probation Violation on the original charges of Assault-Second Degree and Peace Disturbance-First Offense, with no bond, and, a Lamar Municipal Warrant charging him with Contempt of Court on the original charge of Domestic Assault, with a $273.00 cash bond. He was transported to the Vernon County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On March 29, 2019, officers responded to 318 West Lafayette concerning a delayed report of a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of Missouri trailer plates 17K6LV and 17K7LV were stolen from inside a motor vehicle. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On March 30, 2019, officers responded to 317 West Spring concerning a reported attempted burglary. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On March 30, 2019, officers responded to 311 South Grand concerning a reported larceny. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On March 30, 2019, officers responded to 227 West US 54 Highway, Pete’s Convenience Store, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed that a male subject, wearing a puffy vest, driving a maroon, Ford truck, with Missouri License 9UZ541, left without paying for approximately fifteen gallons of gasoline. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On March 30, 2019, officers responded to 805 South Jackson concerning a reported male subject brandishing a firearm. The investigation resulted in the arrest of John Jacob Cox, 37,  of El Dorado Springs, for the Probable Cause of Unlawful for Certain Persons to Possess a Firearm, Unlawful use of a Weapon, Resisting Arrest/Detention, Assault on a Special Victim, and Fourth Degree Assault. Officers completed a Probable Cause statement for these charges. On March 31, 2019, officers received a Cedar County Felony Warrant charging Cox with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Resisting with Arrest of a Felony with a $25,000.00 bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On March 31, 2019, officers responded to 100 East US 54 Highway, Casey’s General Store, concerning a reported larceny/shoplifting. The investigation revealed the theft of a one liter bottle of soda.  The investigation resulted in summons being issued to Hallah Goth-Janz, 18, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with Larceny (Shoplifting).
