MIDDLE SCHOOL CHEERLEADERS GET AWARDS -On Wednesday, March 6, El Dorado Springs Middle School Cheerleader Coach Julie Savinske, named the outstanding members of her squad. They are (from left) Charlie Lines-Best Smile, Emma Myer-Outstanding Leadership (Captain), Kennedi Murdock-Most Encouraging, Ashley Cartwright- Hardest Worker, Sarah Dingerson -Most Improved and (not pictured) Courtney Lame- Best Voice. Coach Savinske said, “These girls were an amazing group to work with. They gave me their all every time they stepped out to cheer. Although, they were small in number they cheered big every game. Thank you girls for giving me a year of your time and talent.”

GIRLS BASKETBALL AWARDS – On Tuesday evening, March 5, El Dorado Springs High School honored its girls basketball players. Coach Beau Swopes presented these awards; (from left) Madison Mays-Defensive Player of the year, Taylor Witt-Most Improved, Alexa Schaaf-Highest Free Throw percentage, Kaili Simmons- MVP and Rebounding Award. Mike Morin presented Kameron Schaaf the Rising Star Award. Letter winners were: Kaili Simmons-4yr Medal, Kate Sibley-4yr Medal, Alexa Schaaf, Madison Mays, Rachel Bush, Taylor Witt, Becky Jennings, Cameron McPeak, Kameron Schaaf and Kinli Simmons.
BOYS BASKETBALL LEADERS HONORED – On Tuesday, March 5, the EHS Basketball coaching staff honored the top Bulldog Basketball players. Varsity letters went to Richard Lyness, Colten Hedrick, Heath Sutton, Jakob Studer, Dustin Hall, Robert Keith, Josh Girven, Kyle Robertson, Jake Hillsman, Jason Owsley and Lance Molz.
JV MR. HUSTLE – award went to Lance Molz who usually drew the best offensive player on the other team, lead the JV in steals and the most time spent on the floor.
JV MOST IMPROVED – went to Walter Burk at the EHS March 5 awards ceremony.
EHS DANCE TEAM HONORED – On Wednesday night, March 6, Regan Hollingsworth, EHS Dance Team coach honored her athletes. On the left is Shay Thomas, Senior- Best All Around. On the right is Kylie Goodwin (Sophomore)- Most Improved. Fallyn Ozbun (jr) Rising Performer, is not pictured. Mrs. Hollingsworth said, “Shay did an outstanding job this year. She led the team as captain and choreographed all of our routines. Kylie Goodwin was a first year dancer and went above and beyond what she had to do to practice and learn the routines. She truly gave it her all. Fallyn Ozbun is a second year dancer and really showed what it takes to be a great dancer. She has great to potential to be a leader for our team next year.”
