Registration for youth baseball and softball will be held in the El Dorado Springs Civic Center two days – from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 18, and from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 19. At least one parent must be present at registration.
If you cannot attend one of these sign-up times, you may sign up at the El Dorado Springs Civic Center during normal business hours until March 31. Those who do not sign up by the March 31 deadline will be put on a waiting list and will not be guaranteed a spot on a team.
Children will be assigned to a league based on age as of April 30. You must bring a copy of a birth certificate. Players must be the age listed on April 30 to play in that league. If you cannot find a birth certificate, you can obtain a copy at the Cedar County Health Department.
T-Ball is for ages 4 and 5; Coaches Pitch is for ages 6 and 7; Minors (Boys and Girls) is for ages 8, 9 and 10; Majors (Boys and Girls) is for ages 11, 12 and 13; and Seniors (Boys and Girls) is for all who will be enrolled in High School for the 2013-2014 school year.
Tryouts for each league will be held Saturday, April 6. Tryout times for each league will be posted during registration. No one will be allowed to register on the day of tryouts. If a child cannot attend tryouts, then they will still be placed on a team.
Coaches: Anyone interested in coaching needs to sign-up during the player registration period.
Fees: T-Ball – $15, Coaches Pitch – $18, Minors – $25, Majors – $25 and Seniors – $25
