According to Superintendent Mark Koca, El Dorado Springs R-2 Schools is happy to announce that two new head coaches have been hired by the District. Coach Kelley Beckner will be joining the Bulldog staff this summer as the Head Football Coach. Mr. Beckner has been the Offensive Line/Special Teams Coordinator for 4 years at Mt. Vernon High School and has also coached football in various capacities at Monett, Kickapoo High School, Springfield Catholic, and Nixa High School. Mr. Beckner holds a Bachelor’s degree in History Education and a Master’s Degree in School Administration.

Coach Nicholas Engleman will be joining the Bulldog staff as our new Head Baseball Coach and History teacher. Mr Engleman comes to us from Greenfield High School where he was the Head Baseball Coach and History teacher. Previously he had been with Pleasant Hope Schools as Social Studies/Head Basketball coach. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Evangel University. Mr. Engleman’s wife, Morgan, will also be joining the Bulldog Staff as the Middle School Counselor.
