West Central Missouri Community Action Agency has an opening in its Early Childhood Education unit for a Health Services Component Specialist to be based in the central office in Appleton City.

Applicants must be a Registered Dietician, licensed in Missouri, and have experience and knowledge of the following: Leadership/Supervisory skills, ability to train staff, work with the public, communicate effectively, and speak effectively in public. Background in the health field is desired but not required. Responsibilities include: Ensuring a nutrition program is implemented that meets the nutritional needs and requirements of each child; ensuring that, through collaboration among families, staff and other professionals, all child health and developmental concerns are identified, and children and families are linked to continuous, accessible care to meet their basic needs.
