Missouri State Senator Mike Parson (R-Bolivar), along with State Representatives Diane Franklin (R-Camdenton) and Sandy Crawford (R-Buffalo), and in conjunction with the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce Business Summit 2013 at the Kenneth E. Cowan Civic Center in Lebanon, Missouri. The event will be held Friday, March 22, 2013 and is free and open to the public. Registration begins at 8 am and the final program is scheduled to end at 1 pm.

Topics to be covered include business development, exports, and job creation. We are especially excited to have Linda Christle, CEcD, as one of the presenters. Linda is the Executive Director of Economic Development Sedalia-Pettis County and is a Certified Economic Developer. Other speakers will be on hand from the Missouri Division of Tourism, Missouri Department of Economic Development, Missouri Small Business Development and Technology Center as well as Randy Allen, President & CEO, Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce.

Whether you own a business, work for a business, want to start a business, or want to grow your business, this will be a great event to pick up some new ideas, network with state and area business leaders, and meet with those who represent you in Jefferson City. With the Legislature on spring break in the coming week, Senator Parson wanted to do a business related event in the district as a way of keeping people connected to their voice in the State Capitol. As Laclede County is new to the 28th district it also provides an opportunity for citizens to become acquainted with Senator Parson.

While the Summit is open to the public at no charge, an rsvp is appreciated as lunch will be provided to attendees. You can reserve your spot at this exciting event by either calling the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce (417/588-3256) or contacting them by email at
