On May 20, 2019, officers responded to 105 South Vernon concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a silver windmill. A report was taken and the investigation continues

On May 20, 2019, officers arrested Harold K. Williams, 45, for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charges of No Insurance, No Operator’s License, no License Plates, and Failure to Appear, with a bond of $327.50. Officers also issued Williams a summons for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance.

On May 20, 2019, officers responded to 315 East Fields, Apartment 3, concerning a domestic disturbance. The investigation led to the arrest of Eric M. Tompkins, 33, of El Dorado Springs, for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Peace Disturbance, with a bond of $175.50. Officers also completed a Probable Cause Statement for the charges of Domestic Assault in the Third Degree and two counts of Property Damage in the Second Degree. On May 21, 2019, officers served Tompkins with a Cedar County Felony Warrant charging him with Domestic Assault in the Third Degree and two separate counts of Property Damage, with a bond of $20,000.00. He was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On May 21, 2019, officers arrested John J. Cox, 37, for an active Vernon County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Assault in the Forth Degree, Resisting/Interfering with Arrest, and Possession of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid 10 Grams or Less, with a cash only bond of $1,000.00. He was transported to the Vernon County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On May 21, 2019, officers responded to a reported burglary in the 300 Block of East Spring. The investigation revealed the theft of two “Fireman” style axes and a small knife with a wooden handle and inward curved blade. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On May 22, 2019, officers responded to 311 North Main concerning a report of an attempted burglary. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On May 23, 2019, officers arrested Bobby D. Wells, 48, of Walker, MO, as a result of a traffic stop. Wells was charged with Driving While Revoked, No License Plates, and Failure to Provide Proof of Insurance. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On May 24, 2019, officers responded to 510 East Gentry concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of approximately $300.00, in cash, taken between 11:30 a.m. on April 14, 2019, and 12:11 p.m. on May 2, 2019. Suspects have been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On May 25, 2019, officers responded to 319 West Spring concerning a reported assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On May 25, 2019, officers assisted the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office with the arrest of Amanda S. King, 34, of Nevada, MO, for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear on the original charges of Driving While Suspended and Failure to Appear, with a bond of $426.00. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On May 26, 2019, officers responded to 208 West Walnut concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of motorcycle trailer. A report was taken and the investigation continues.
