EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

March 23 -Officers responded to 910 South Grand concerning a reported burglary. Investigation revealed that forced entry was made through a door during the evening hours when no one was at the residence. A “Benchtop” drill press and a blue plastic storage container were stolen from the residence. .

Officers responded to 326 West Poplar concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed a generator was stolen from the property.

March 25 – Officers responded to a reported larceny at 105 South Summer. Investigation revealed the theft of approximately $50 in copper wiring. Investigation continuing.

Officers responded to a reported larceny at 503 North Main . Investigation revealed the theft of a central heating unit, lawn mower and weed eater. Investigation continuing.

March 27- Officers responded to a reported larceny at 512 East Lafayette. Investigationtinuing.

Officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance at 700 South Park. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Garrett M. Ecker, 29, El Dorado Springs, on the probable cause of second degree domestic assault and carrying a concealed weapon. Investigation continuing with additional charges expected.

March 27- Officers responded to a reported larceny at 512 East Lafayette. Investigation revealed the theft of a gray Arco Central Air Conditioner with a Copeland Compressor. Investigation continuing.

March 28 – Arrests: Jarret R. Major, 23, El Dorado Springs, charging him with driving while suspended, failure to provide proof of insurance and displaying wrong license plates. He was released on summonses pending court appearance.

Kriston M. Costello, 37, El Dorado Springs, charging him with driving while suspended. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

March 29 – Officers responded to a reported larceny at 109 North Cedar. Investigation revealed the theft of a $2 bill, a $1 bill (Silver Certificate), ten, $.50 coins, six, gold dollar coins and three Susan B. Anthony dollar coins. A wedding ring and CSA ring that were also stolen were later recovered. Investigation continuing. .

March 30 – Officers responded to a reported larceny at 100 East 54 Hwy. Investigation revealed a subject driving a black, Ford F-150, pick-up truck left without paying for $20 in gasoline. Investigation continuing.

March 31 – Officers arrested Cayla D. Breeden, 27, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County warrant charging her with probation violation on the original charge of forgery with no bond, and an active Cedar County warrant charging her with probation violation on the original charge of assault with no bond. She was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending court appearance.

Officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance at 700 South Park. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Garrett M. Ecker, 29, El Dorado Springs, on the probable cause of second degree domestic assault and carrying a concealed weapon. Investigation continuing with additional charges expected.

Kimberly Michelle Mann-Nelson is not the Michelle Nelson listed in the court report of 3-28-13 in the El Dorado Springs Sun
