Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made 10 arrests and took two reports during the week of June 17-24, 2019.

Warrant Arrests

Robert Lee- On June 22, Robert Lee, 30, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D misdemeanor driving while revoked/suspended. Bond is set at $1,500 cash or surety.

The original charge comes from a traffic stop by the Missouri State Highway Patrol in November of 2018.

Travis Jones- On June 21, Travis Jones, 29, Kansas City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a probation violation on original charges of a class E felony resisting arrest/detention/stop by fleeing, class A misdemeanor operating a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, class B misdemeanor failure to drive on right half of roadway when roadway was of sufficient width, causing an immediate threat of an accident, class B misdemeanor property damage in the second degree, class B misdemeanor exceeded posted speed limit by 26 mph or more, class D misdemeanor driving while revoked/suspended, class C misdemeanor failure to stop at stop sign, and a class C misdemeanor failure to signal/ gave improper signal when turning left or right. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

The charges come after a St. Clair County deputy tried to stop the vehicle that Jones was driving for a traffic violation on May 3, 2018. Jones failed to yield to the deputy on 13 Highway and continued through Lowry City. Jones lost control of the vehicle and ended up going off the road and through a fence. The driver and passenger of the vehicle bailed out on foot and tried to elude the deputies. A search of the immediate area resulted in finding Jones and the passenger trying to hide in the creek. Both parties were taken into custody.

Gerald Moore- On June 21, Gerald Moore, 71, Springfield, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class A misdemeanor driving while revoked/suspended and an infraction charge of operating a motor vehicle with brakes not in good working order. Bond is set at $447.5 cash only.

The original charges come from a traffic stop by the Missouri State Highway Patrol in June of 2017.

Brandon Shirey- On June 20, Brandon Shirey, 35, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony domestic assault in the second degree. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

The warrant comes after Shirey’s girlfriend stated that he had pushed her into some hard objects and threw hard objects at her, causing bruises.

Amy Shull- On June 20, Amy Shull, 47, Collins, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class A misdemeanor assault in the fourth degree. Bond is set at $3,500 cash or surety.

The warrant comes after a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on Main Street in Collins in reference to an assault on January 7, 2019. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Amy Shull. Shull stated she had the door to the chicken coop open. She stated while she was in her garage cleaning it up, a small Chihuahua climbed into the coop and killed several chickens. Shull stated she chased the dog down the street while it was still carrying the chicken in its mouth. Shull stated she got on her four wheeler and drove to the neighbor’s residence and tossed one of the dead chickens on their front porch to show the dog owner it had killed her chickens.

Leeanne Seek filled out a request for prosecution against Amy Shull for throwing the dead chicken at her juvenile child that was on the porch. Seek denied it was her dog that killed the chickens, because her dog has a perimeter shock collar on it.

Lesley Ingalsbe- On June 19, Lesley Ingalsbe, 26, Ava, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class D felony forgery and a class A misdemeanor stealing. Bond is set at $2,000 cash only.

The warrant comes after an investigation by the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office. It appeared that Ingalsbe had altered a check, issued by the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, that she was issued after being previously incarcerated in the jail in June of 2018.

Matthew Kolb- On June 19, Matthew Kolb, 33, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less-prior offense. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

The warrant comes after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle Kolb was driving for an equipment violation. After making contact, Kolb admitted to the deputy that he had some marijuana in his pocket and in the vehicle. Kolb consented to a search of his vehicle. The marijuana was recovered from the location Kolb said it was. There were no other findings during the search.

Porsche Keith- On June 19, 27, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on a class D felony possession of a controlled substance. This is a no bond warrant.

The original charges stem from an investigation by the Osceola Police Department in November of 2017.

Andrea Johnson- On June 17, Andrea Johnson, 40, Lexington, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a probation violation on original charges of a class D felony possession controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and a class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less. Bond is set at $2,500 cash or surety.

The warrant comes after a concerned citizen approached a St. Clair County deputy while he was sitting at Shelby’s Truck Stop in Lowry City. The citizen informed the deputy that there was a female sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle that looked to be deceased.

The deputy proceeded to the location of the vehicle and observed a female sitting in the passenger seat with a leg hanging out of the car. The deputy observed the female breathing and woke her up.

After making sure she was okay, the deputy did a record check on Johnson and found that she has an active felony warrant out of Lafayette County. The deputy asked if she had anything illegal in her belongings. Johnson gave the deputy consent to search her things. During the search of Johnson’s purse a used glass pipe with a crystal like residue was found, along with a marijuana cigarette, and a small amount of marijuana. The pipe field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Joshua Tenedine- On June 17, Joshua Tenedine, 32, Jefferson City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class A misdemeanor violation of a child protection order. Bond is set at $500 cash only.

Stealing in El Dorado Springs

On June 21, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on SW Highway O in reference to a stealing. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Matthew McConnell. McConnell stated that, sometime between March 15 to May 1, 2019, a Bear X, FFL Crossbow, a Yukon Night Vision 1.5×42 scope and another older crossbow were taken from his residence. McConnell stated it may have been someone that was part of a crew that was remodeling his house. There is no known estimated loss value at this time.

Burglary in Appleton City

On June 18, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on NW Highway A in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Jeremy and Deborah Bergen. Deborah stated while they were gone, someone cut the lock to their shed and took their power washer. She also stated that the person also rolled their 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle out of the shed. The fuel line to their four wheeler had also been cut. Jeremy advised that a bag for their air mattress was missing and believed to have been used to remove smaller unknown items from the shed.

Deborah stated the person also broke into the house and took a Barnes and Noble NOOK tablet, a hot pink HP laptop computer, a handheld radio, and some jewelry.

Deborah also advised they were missing a hammock chair, a Wild Game Innovation trail camera and a one and a half year old Lab/Bull Mastiff mix dog from their yard.

The deputy collected evidence from the scene and took photographs. There is no known estimated loss value at this time.
