On Monday March 25, 2013, Corporal Bobby McAntire, along with Sheriff Dwerlkotte, and other members of the Cedar County Sheriff office responded to the address of 10590 S. 97 Hwy., and executed a search warrant on the residence and found numerous items of contraband both inside the residence and out buildings, and the numerous chemicals associated with the production of methamphetamine.
After processing the residence and out building, various items were tested which showed positive for meth.
El Dorado Springs officer Ben Francis assisted in the packaging of the chemicals which later were process and taken to be disposed of.
Michael King was arrested for distribute/deliver/manufacture/produce or attempt to possess or produce a controlled substance, (2) unlawful use of drug paraphernalia amphetamine/methamphetamine, and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance. Warrant was issued showing a bond of $150,000.
