Pastor Connie Locke, Jewell and Helen Ellerman and Ruth Ijams worked at the rummage house in the Schell City United Methodist Church basement Tuesday, April 2, getting ready for their next sale. All of them but Ruth had dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen after they quit.
Connie Locke visited her parents, Ben and Gloria Locke, at Nevada Wednesday, April 3.
Bob and Thelma Roe of El Dorado Springs took Frances Lewis to Madalyn’s Kitchen for dinner Friday, April 6.
Those having dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen after church Sunday, April 7, were Pastor Connie Locke, Jewell and Helen Ellerman, Jeanie O’Brien, Ruth Ijams, Frances Lewis, Gary Joe Dunn and Gayle Grinder.
Church service was held at the Schell City United Methodist Church Sunday, April 7. Pastor Connie Locke’s sermon “Thomas” was taken from John 20:19-31. Communion was held. Items were brought for Community Outreach. Sunday School was held before church. Jeanie O’Brien led the lesson “The Lord Appears” taken from Luke 24:36-53. Next Sunday morning the 14th, the movie, “Joshua” will be shown instead of the regular worship hour and Sunday School will start at 10 a.m.
Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, April 7. Brother Cliff Bennett’s sermon “Love Your Neighbor As Yourself” taken from Luke 10:28-37. They held their first Sunday dinner after church.
