Glenora “Allene” Reynolds, 77, went to see the Lord on July 4, 2019, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
Allene was born in Sheldon on Nov. 26, 1941, to Leo Alden Hobbs and Freda Susan Conley Hobbs. She was united in marriage to Roger Wilson Reynolds on July 21, 1961. They were blessed with five children.
Allene had a passion for writing, pursuing her love of the written word though her career as a reporter as well as the articles and short stories published in National Magazines. Allene formerly wrote for the El Dorado Springs Sun, The Star and the St. Clair County Courier.
