On April 2, the El Dorado Springs Varsity and JV golf teams went to Warsaw for their second match of the year.
The players consisted of Jakob Studer with a individual score of 59, Blade Kalleck – individual score of 63, Ty Kalleck – individual score of 64, Taylor Frazier – individual score of 68, Ben Rash – individual score of 71 and Dakota Hampton and Ben Vickers with a scramble score of 61.
Head golf coach David Rogers said, “We are very young this year and the kids are learning a lot as they go. We still have a lot of room to grow and get better and that is all I ask of my kids. I want them to come to practice everyday ready to work, learn, and improve. If we do these things on a daily basis, our scores will improve.”
The coach said, “With the weather lately, it’s been hard to get on the course and practice and therefore we are confined to indoors which has hurt us some. We were scheduled to go to Stockton on April 5, be home on April 9, and travel to Clinton on April 10.”
