FINALLY, SOMEONE SHOOTS – All the would-be contestants at the FFA Boosters donkey ball game Saturdsay night, April 6, had a full-time job with their mode of transportation. Finally, the Bulldog head girl’s basketball coach, Tonya Hooper, got off a shot even though the golf coach, David Rogers, left his mount to try to stop the shot.
CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – That’s what they called it, but anybody betting on anything but the donkeys would have lost…everything.
BODY JOB NEEDED? – Jimmy from Auto Works may be able to work magic on a motor powered vehicle, but that didn’t impress his hay burner.
FLOOR IT – took on a new meaning during the game. Here Chance Thompson showed that he was really taking a chance and his donkey wasn’t taking Chance anywhere but down. It was all for a good cause – FFA Booster scholarships for the kids.
STALLED RIDE – Even though Ida Lambrecht was representing Fugate Motors, she couldn’t get her ride to run.
ILL TEMPERED – Maranda Taylor braved the implied threat of laid back ears to try to get back on her balky steed.
