Morning Services was by Rockville United Methodist Church was by Pastor Larry Sorrells entitled “Grace Reoffers” from Colossians 2:6-23; you are always welcome to join us at 9 a.m. each Sunday morning for worship.

Mt. Zion Home Bible Study held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home at 7 pm each Tuesday evening to study the Bible there was 11 in attendance; you are welcome to join us.

Mt. Zion Club will meet August 21th in the home of Marge Zink to celebrate the club 96 birthday; would love to hear from former members call Marge at 660-598-4240.

Wish Russell Miller a speedy recovery from his accident with the deer.

Mt. Zion is thankful for the cooler weather things are much the same plants growing, hay being baled, garden supplies are being preserved for the winter, life is good.

Recent visitor in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home has been Brenda Peterson of Richmond.

Wanda Rector visited daughter Debbie in Bolivar for a few days last week.

Over at the Robin Siegismund farm all is well Belle is out of the dog house and has a new job since a mess of guineas has hatched, Belle learned when they get unmanageable the go to grandma Mabel’s. It shouldn’t be long before cars can come down the road again they water is low enough to see top rail.

Marge and Beverly have been attending exercise class regularly; Marge and friends whining decided as long as they don’t have to admit the exercises is helping them. At their age they think they can think what they like.

Tom Pelkey was glad for the new mower seems he mowing grass a lot also he has been harvesting potatoes from his container garden, the kittens are growing and cute.

It has been rather quite at Pam Walkers home since Helen and the three children has returned home to Hawaii; they all have had an enjoyable visit.

Julia Snethen accompanied John on his bus route Thursday and did a little shopping. John went to the races at Wheatland with Michael and Logan Snethen and David Schadeler on Saturday night to Celebrate Michael’s birthday.
