Fourth inning rally sparks blowout win for Bulldogs

A 10-run explosion in the fourth inning lifted the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs to a 16-1 win in five innings over Weaubleau at El Dorado on Thursday, April 25.

James Dubois racked up four RBIs on three hits for the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the third and fourth innings.

The El Dorado Springs Bulldogs got the win thanks in large part to Derrick Taylor’s dominant, six strikeout performance. Derrick Taylor allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks over five innings to pick up his first win of the season.

The El Dorado Springs Bulldogs didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring five runs in the second inning when they scored on an RBI double by Matt Hackleman, an error, a passed ball, an RBI single by Spencer Young. Contributing to the offense was Lucas Garver who had a 3-3 effort at the plate with 2 RBI’s, Robert Keith was 2-2 with and RBI, Hesston Stark was 1-4 with a double and 4 RBI’s and Derrick Taylor was 1-1.

MADE IT – Bulldog Lucas Garver (No. 12) stole home on a passed ball to tally one of the Bulldogs 16 runs in five innings.
