Mt. Zion Cemetery meeting Sunday, June 2

Morning message at the Rockville United Church by Pastor Souza was entitled “Love one another” from John 13: 31-35.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home with 10 in attendance. Each Tuesday at 7 p.m. we invite you the join us.

Mt. Zion Club will meet with Marge Zink May 16 for an afternoon meeting; there will be a plant exchange.

Annual Cemetery meeting of the Mt. Zion Cemetery Rockville will be June 2, time 3:15 pm at Harold and Betty Rosbrugh’s home, 430 NW 775 Rd. Rockville.

Dixie Peterson and Marge Zink stayed overnight in Branson enjoying shopping and the Clay Cooper show getting home before the snowstorm on Thursday.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey have been busy running around Monday. Beverly kept her eye appointment in Clinton, Saturday shopping in Nevada; Phillip Siegismund was a visitor in the Pelkey home. The Pelkey’s are enjoying lots of humming birds.

Several from the area attended the VFW Post 11242 and Ladies Auxiliary meeting Thursday. We came home in nearly blizzard like conditions.

John Allison, from Connecticut, is visiting his mother, Helen Ruth Allison, and family.

June Marshall is doing fine been, shopping and cleaning house.

Visitor in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home was Eric Peterson. Saturday Howard and Dixie visited Kent Crawford, Beth and Rick George at the Crawford Deer Camp.

John and Julia Snethen had a visitor over the weekend, Ron Thompson but Julia came up with inner-sinus infection after her MRI last Thursday. But Julia has had a lot of trouble with her sinus.
