EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

April 29 – Arrest: Emily J. Harris, 29, El Dorado Springs, on an active Vernon County misdemeanor warrant charging her with third degree assault with a cash or surety bond of $1,000. She was extradited to the Vernon County Sheriff’s ffice pending bond and court appearance.

Officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance at 403 South Ohio, Apt 10. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Dalton J. Wooten, 18, El Dorado Springs, on the probable cause of domestic assault. On April 30, officers served Wooten with a Cedar County Warrant charging him with second degree domestic assault and third degree domestic assault with a cash or surety bond of $5,000. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

April 30 – Officers responded to a reported assault at 901 South Grand. Juvenile suspects were identified and referred to the Juvenile Office.

May 1 – Arrests: Scott L. Riboni, 42, El Dorado Springs, on an active Cedar County felony warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana with a cash or surety bond of $5,000. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Amy B. Taylor, 50, Clinton, on an active Bates County warrant charging her with possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana with a cash or surety bond of $10,000. She was released on bond pending court appearance.

Cynthia S. Scott, 53, El Dorado Springs, on an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Court warrant charging her with failing to appear on the original charge of dog license required with a cash or surety bond of $97.50. She was released on bond pending court appearance.

May 2 – Officers responded to a reported motor vehicle theft at 400 South Ohio. Investigation revealed the theft of a 2008 hunter green Polaris Sportsman 500, ATV. Investigation continuing. May 3 – Officers responded to a reported larceny at 114 West Marshall. Investigation revealed the copper line and wires to the air conditioner were cut and damaged. Investigation continuing.

May 4 – Arrest: Kellie R. Cooper, 40, El Dorado Springs, charging her with larceny with a cash or surety bond of $250. She was released on bond pending court appearance.

Officers responded to a reported burglary at 1000 South Jackson. Investigation revealed that forced entry was made through the back door of the residence and that copper wire to the air conditioner had been stolen. Investigation continuing.

Officers responded to a reported assault at 400 South Main. Investigation revealed that two male subjects exited a red passenger car, possibly a Pontiac driven by a female subject, and pushed the two juvenile victims to the ground, near the alley between Hickory and Joe Davis Streets. The male subjects reportedly got back into the red passenger car and exited the area. Investigation continuing. May 5 – Officers responded to a reported disturbance in the 300 Block of West 54 Hwy. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Bryan L. Courtney Jr. 23, El Dorado Springs, charging him with possession of drug paraphernalia with a cash or surety bond of $500 and obstruction (tamper/destroy evidence). He was released on bond pending court appearance.
