This past Sunday Herriman Chapel hosted its first Friends and Family Day, which turned out to be an incredible time of worship and fun. Pastor Woods used the Parable of the Prodigal Son from Luke 15 to share how our Heavenly Father never gives up on his children as we worshiped together.

Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a great lunch of BBQ beef sandwiches and fried chicken. The children could hardly eat their food, however, from excitement over the bouncy house waiting outside. The kids bounced and bounced till exhausted and then enjoyed a hayride around our grounds or went to the cafeteria to get their faces painted. Young people – and some older ones as well – played volleyball, horseshoes, etc.

At the end of our time together, everyone left tired but refreshed. The Herriman Chapel family came together in a big way to make this a special day. We truly appreciate each one of our friends and family who joined us.

Herriman Chapel is a gathering of people who have experienced God’s love; our passion is to share God’s love with others. You should know God really loves you – no matter how sinful or religious you may be – he loves you and will never give up on you!

A chapel in the country with a heart full of love … Herriman Chapel is located 1 1/2 miles south of Hwy 54 on Hwy 39.
