Pastor Connie Locke and Jeanie O’Brien returned home Monday, June 10, adfter attending the Missouri Annual Conference of the Missouri United Methodist Churches of Missouri. After they got home, Connie viited her parents, Ben and Gloria Locke, at Nevada and she picked her cat, Miss Kitty, up at the vet.
Jewell and Helen Ellerman and Connie Locke visited Sharon Sterling of Appleton City, at the Elliott Memorial Hospital in Appleton City where Tuesday, June 11, she was a patient for over a week. They ate at the Farmer Kitchen.
Those having dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen after church Sunday, June 16, were Pastor Connie Locke, Jewell and Helen Ellerman, Jeanie O’Brien, Ruth Ijams Frances Lewis, Gary Joe Dunn and Gayle Dunn.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, June 16. Brother Cliff Bennett’s sermon was taken from John.

It was the fourth Sunday of Pentecost and Fathers Day. Sunday School was held before church. Jeanie O’Brien led the lesson, “Meaningless Worship” taken from Isaiah 29:9-16a.
