Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home with nine in attendance. Each Tuesday at 7 p.m., we invite you the join us.
The Mt. Zion Club met June 19 with Roberta Dines in Appleton City hosting the annual picnic. Roll call was favorite picnic food. Watermelon and hot dogs were named. We enjoyed seeing all the pretty flowers. Next meeting will be with Beverly Pelkey July 17. Mark your calendar.

The Mt. Zion Community traveled in cars and vans with snacks to welcome Philip and Susan Siegismund to the neighborhood on Monday evening.
Marge and Stanley Zink and Howard and Dixie Peterson attended a family reunion in Wheatland at the Bernice and Butch Henry home.
Summer has arrived a few days early in the Mt. Zion area which is okay for bailing hay and harvesting fescue seed and some are planting.
John and Julia Snethen kept busy this past weekend. On Saturday they attended the Foster Reunion for Julia’s side of the family in Clinton and on Sunday they attended the 96th birthday party for Joel Foster in Butler. Those attending were Barbara, Leslie and Leslie Leroy Carpenter; Nancy Bradley and grandson, Cody, and family; Shirley and Ron McEwan; Paul Blackwell; Karen Harvill from Georgia; Nancy Nelson and Curt Motley.
Ron and Brittany Thompson spent the weekend with John and Julia Snethen.
