Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church by Pastor Larry Sorrells titled New Year, New attitudes, Mew Year. You are always welcome for worship at 9 a.m. Sunday.

Mt. Zion Home Bible Study has been canceled for the past two weeks. We will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, at Tom and Beverly’s home. Most area churches had Christmas Eve services which were well attended.

Things are moving on! Laverne Montley celebrated her 99th birthday. Florene French had 96th birthday and Armilda McEwan had 94th birthday, Donna Harris a young 80. Happy Birthday to all of those very active ladies.

Mt. Zion Club will meet on Jan. 15, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Marge Zinks home fro the club Christmas party. December club was canceled due to weather. Can’t ever remember club being canceled in December, usually its January. 

Dixie Peterson is working hard on her therapy and enjoying her visitors, among those have been Kent, Betty Lou and Stacy.

Over at the Robin Siegismond Farm, Belle is enjoying sunbathing,  Making doggy angels is fun but got old after several days of no sun. Belle did enjoy Christmas she shared treats with Santas reindeer and was rewarded. Robin has been looking at the seed and chicken catalogs when not crotcheting.

Tom Pelkey has been under the weather, is doing much better. He is thankful for the wood fairies. Beverly has started therapy plus exercises doing much better.

Rockville Hadquilters enjoyed on all day quilting Jan. 2, 2020. We are working on the most beautiful solid embroidery state bird quilt. Worth a visit on Thursday afternoon to see it. We enjoy visitors, coffee is at 2:30 p.m.
