EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

June 20 – Officers responded to a reported assault at 500 West Fields. Suspect has been identified and investigation continuing.

Officers responded to a reported assault at 100 South Main. Investigation resulted in the arrest of David E. Kieffer, 18, El Dorado Springs, charging him with third degree assault, peace disturbance and disorderly conduct in a City Park. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers responded to a reported robbery at 121 West Marshall. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Misty M. Rock, 33, El Dorado Springs, charging her with second degree robbery, theft/stealing (less than $500) and felonious restraint\with a cash or surety bond of $2,500. She was released to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office and transferred to the Vernon County Sheriff’s office pending bond and ocourt appearance.

Officers responded to a reported assault at the City ball park. Suspect has been identified and investigation continuing.

June 21 Officers received information concerning reported drug activity at 1804 South Phillips. Investigation resulted in the issuance of a search warrant and led to the arrest of Austin R. Hutsell, 24, El Dorado Springs, charging him with possession of a controlled substance, keeping or maintaining a public nuisance and ossession of drug paraphernalia with a cash or surety bond of $10,000. He was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond and a court appearance. Officers also arrested Trenda R. Loomis, 35, El Dorado Springs, on the probable cause of possession of a controlled substance. She was released pending further charges.

June 22- Officers responded to a larceny at 100 East 54 Hwy, Casey’s General Store. Iinvestigation revealed a man driving a black, SUV, possibly a Ford Escape or Edge, wearing a red shirt and a white cap, pumped $40 worth of gas and the female passenger with red hair, wearing a red St. Louis Cardinals shirt came into the station and purchased some drinks, and got money out of the ATM, but did not pay for the fuel. Vehicle last seen going east on 54 Hwy. Investigation continuing. Anyone with information concerning this incident is encouraged to call the El Dorado Springs Police Department at 417-876-TIPS.

Arrest: Daniel K. Ridley, 49, El Dorado Springs, on an active Nevada Municipal Court warrant charging him with failure to appear, on the original charge of DWI with a cash only bond of $1,222.62. He was extradited to the Nevada Police Department pending bond and court appearance.

June 22 – Officers responded to a reported larceny at 201 South Park. Investigation revealed the theft of a white Huffy Sea Star bicycle, with a purple seat, pink hand grips, white tires with pink pegs on the front tire and a bell on the handle bars. June 23 – Officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance at 115 West Hickory. Suspect identified and investigation continuing. While conducting their investigation, officers arrested Ashley R. Heathman, 22, El Dorado Springs, on an active Andrew County warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of speeding with a cash only bond of $500 and an Andrew County warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of DWR with a cash only bond of $1,500. She was released on bond pending court appearance.

June 23 – Arrest: Brea N. Hughes, 24, Springfield, on an active Cedar County warrant charging her with fraud-insufficient funds (checks) with a cash only bond of $250 and DWS. She was released on bond and summons pending court appearance.
