The Rockville United Methodist Church was canceled today because of the weather.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held Tuesday evening Jan. 7, at 7 p.m. in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home with eight in attendance.

Mt. Zion Club will meet on Jan 15, in the Marge Zink home at 1 p.m. for our long-awaited Christmas party.

Mt. Zion area has been enjoying our nice weather, until the rain on Friday and then the snow on Saturday, Jan. 11.

Dixie Peterson is doing therapy at Truman Lake Manor in Lowry City. She enjoys her visitors.

Pams Walker returned  home after spending the Christmas and New Year holidays with son, Chip, and family in Texas. The weather was nice there for the holidays.

John and Julia Snethen and Ron spent Christmas and New Year Day at home. Julia and Ron entertained the “Crud.” John is happy to be back driving the Oats Bus after his surgery.

Tom a Beverly Pelkey are both feeling better, both taking it easy, Beverly doing therapy, Tom glad there are wood ferries around. James and Karen Rosburgh were recent visitors.

Wanda Rector spent the New Year celebrating at her daughter’s in Springfield,. Glad Rex Rector and wife and dog have made it to Arizona. Rex has begun treatment at the hospital there, our prayers are with the family.
