Timothy Allen Rock, 50, El Dorado Springs, passed away early Monday morning, July 22, 2103, after a long battle with lung cancer. Tim was born on Feb. 22, 1963, in Oil City, PA.

Tim and his family moved to Missouri and he grew up in El Dorado Springs and the surrounding areas. Tim lived a very eventful childhood enjoying anything to do with the outdoors. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, riding horses and racing cars. He attended El Dorado Springs High School.

Tim was one of the hardest working men you will ever find. He also, without question, would give you the shirt off his back. He had various jobs throughout his life. Most of his time working was being either the foreman of a working ranch or a butcher.

When Tim wasn’t working, he was spending time with family and friends. Tim taught his kids respect and how to enjoy life to the fullest, also how to enjoy the things he enjoyed as a kid.

Up until Tim got sick, he had been working at R S & C Processing in El Dorado Springs. He had been attending church at the Assembly of God in El Dorado Springs.

These past few months, Tim has spent his spare time taking care of a variety of animals and his garden. Anybody that knew Tim knows what a great man he was. He could cheer anybody up if they were feeling down. He had a smile and a laugh that nobody can forget. He will be truly missed by many people.

Preceding him in death were: father, Joe Daniels; sister, Judy Smith; brother, Billy Joe Daniels; and daughter Veleta Jewel Rock.

Survivors include: mother, Agratha; sisters, Teddi and Tina; brothers, Robert, Randy, Jerri and Donald; children – Timothy Jr., Ashley, Seth, Landon and Dusty; step-children – Jessie Lee, Ricky and Tara; grandchildren -Alexis, Katie, Tim, Allie and Addie; and several nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.

Services will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 25, in the El Dorado Springs Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dana Taylor officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
