ST. CLAIR COUNTY SHERIFF

Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made five arrests and took two reports during the week of Feb. 11 through 18, 2020.

Warrant Arrests

John Greathouse, Jr.- On Feb. 15, John Greathouse, Jr., 40, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Cass County warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge. Bond is set at $100 cash only.

The arrest comes after St. Clair County deputies were dispatched to a residence on NW 1001 Road in reference to a domestic. John Greathouse, Jr. had got into an altercation with his father, John Greathouse, Sr.

Roger Wingo- On Feb. 15, Roger Wingo, 48, Marshfield, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class E felony resisting arrest/detention/stop by fleeing-creating a substantial risk of serious injury/death to any person. Bond is set at $20,000 cash only.

The warrant comes after a citizen called into dispatch to report a reckless driver on south bound Highway 13. Deputies responded to the area. After a short search, the deputies were able to get behind a Chevrolet Corvette that failed to yield to an emergency vehicle and continued south bound on Highway 13 at speeds of approximately 120 mph. The deputies tried to box in the suspect vehicle, but it was able to get out and began to flee north bound Highway 13. After failing to yield for a short period, stop sticks were deployed successfully on the suspect vehicle.

The suspect vehicle continued to fail to yield to the deputies and crossed into Cedar County. The suspect vehicle struck a St. Clair County patrol vehicle in the passenger door. Other deputies were able to surround the suspect vehicle and take the male subject into custody without further incident.

A K9 unit was on scene and performed an open air sniff test of the suspect vehicle. The K9 did alert to the odor of narcotics. During a search of the vehicle a plastic bag containing a white crystal like substance was located. The substance did field test positive for methamphetamine.

Terry Harjo- On Feb. 14, Terry Harjo, 39, Collins, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

The warrant comes after a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in Collins. The deputy arrived in Collins and noticed the reported vehicle making a turn. The deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle. The deputy contacted the driver, later identified as Wilkerson and passenger, later identified as Terry Harjo. Wilkerson stated he was driving because Harjo had wrecked the car earlier and was shook up about it.

Dionne Rogers- On Feb. 13, Dionne Rogers, 54, Forsyth, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Boone County, AR warrant charging her with an unclassified felony for driving while intoxicated and an unclassified misdemeanor reckless driving in the first degree. This is a no bond warrant.

Cody Strutton- On Feb. 12, Cody Strutton, 23, unknown, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original class A misdemeanor stealing and a class C misdemeanor assault in the fourth degree. Bond is set at $191.50 cash only.

The original warrant comes after St. Clair County deputies were notified by an employee of Shelby’s Gas Station in Lowry City, that a guy left the station without paying for the merchandise on June 26, 2019. The deputies made contact with Strutton as he was about to fight a store employee. He was taken into custody without incident.

Property damage in Roscoe

On Feb.17, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on SW Highway K in reference to property damage. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Lisa Self. Self stated she was the property caretaker. Self stated she was at the property on Feb. 8 and everything was ok. When she returned to the property on Feb. 17, she discovered a broken window. She also found the garage door was pulled up a little. Nothing appeared to be missing at the time of the report.

Stealing in Lowry City

On Feb. 12, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a walk-in report in regards to a stealing. The deputy spoke with Roger Gurley. Gurley stated that sometime between Feb. 7th and 11th someone had cut down a large walnut tree on his property. Gurley stated it appeared the suspect pulled the log to a different location and loaded it onto a trailer. Gurley also stated the suspect left several items lying on the ground.

The deputy responded to the scene and collected photographs and evidence.
