EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

July 22 – Officers responded to 504 East Fields, A7, concerning a reported burglary. Investigation revealed a VCR, DVD, battery charger and a train set had been stolen. Investigation continuing.

July 23 – Arrests: Douglas Dozler, 47, El Dorado Springs, for a Municipal Court warrant charging him with failure to appear per court order for the original charge of DWS with a bond of $295.. He was released after court appearance.

Roni R. Scott, 28, El Dorado Springs, for a Municipal Court warrant charging her with failure to appear per court order for the original charge of failure to yield to an Emergency motor vehicle, DWR with a bond of $445. She was released after court appearance.

Officers responded to 308 West Hightower concerning a reported domestic disturbance. Investigation continuing.

July 24, – Officers responded to 800 North Main, Apt 36, concerning a reported domestic assault. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Brandon S. Carter, 31, Harwood. Officers applied for and received a Cedar County warrant charging him with two counts of domestic assault in the 3rd Degree with a cash only bond of $1,000. He was transferred to the Cedar County Sheriff’s pffice pending bond and court appearance.

July 25 – Officers responded to 1406 South Main concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed that a white male in his 30’s, possibly named Terry had entered the property indicating to the victim that he was replacing sewer lines in the area. Victim later noticed a wallet, identification card, credit card and cash missing.
