Linda Gail Millilgan, 68, Lamar, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at Mercy-McCune Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
Linda was born Aug. 24, 1944, to Edward Bise and Juanita Bise Adams in Topeka, KS.
On Jan. 19, 1970, she married Lawrence Ray Milligan.
She had worked as a CNA and a Med Tech at Bristol Manor Residential Care and most recently at Barton County Hospital in Lamar.
On Nov. 14, 1999, she was baptized at Lamar First Christian Church. She was a volunteer for Relay for Life, and volunteered in the office at the First Christian Church. Linda loved to listen to Ninth Hour Gospel Quartet, followed car racing and football, but her number one interest was her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her husband, Lawrence; three sons – Karl Linn Lehman – Nevada, Robert Dale Lehmann – Nevada and Dustin D’Shane Milligan – Webb City; one step-daughter, Carrie Sue and Roy Myers – Jerico Springs; three brothers – Bobby and Debbie Adams – Nevada, Barry and Joyce Bise – Butler and Randy and Lynn Bise – Blue Springs; two sisters, Terri and Danny McDaniel – Kokomo, IN and Wendy Neider – Rich Hill; a niece, Cindi and Kelly Louderback – El Dorado Springs; a nephew, Scott and Sally Biesley; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Darrel Dean Lehmann; a brother, Dale Lee Adams; and a sister, Sandy Boyles.
Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, in Lamar First Christian Church with Mike Gage officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery.
Visitation was 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, at Daniel Funeral Home.
