Jewell and Helen Ellerman and Connie Locke ate lunch at Quick Dine at Nevada Monday, Aug. 12. Jewell had to go for therapy and the doctor. Connie visited her parents, Ben and Gloria Locke, for a few minutes while Jewell was at the doctor. They visited Frances Lewis on the way home.
Rozella Gammon attended the Galvin-Vickers reunion at the Lions building at El Dorado Springs Sunday, Aug. 18. She says Gary and Shirley Vickers furnished the chicken and barbequed them.
Those having dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen Sunday, Aug. 18, after church were Pastor Connie Locke, Jewell and Helen Ellerman, Jeanie O’Brien, Ruth Ijams, Gary Joe Dunn, Gayle Grinder, Eternity Dunn and Brent Baugh.
Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Aug. 18. Brother Cliff Bennett’s sermon “Thread of Love” was taken from Genesis 4:1-26.
Church service was held at the Schell City United Methodist Church Sunday, Aug. 18. Pastor Connie Locke’s sermon “Are You a Refugee?” was taken from Luke 12:49-56. Sunday School was held before church. Jeanie O’Brien led the lesson “Dedication of The Wall” taken from Nehemiah 12:27-36, 38 and 43.
Frances Lewis entered the Appleton City Hospital Friday, Aug. 16. She will be there for a few days.
Mike Burton of Higginsville is here to spend some time with his grandma, Frances Lewis, and other relatives.
