EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Aug 19, 2013 – Officers responded to 309 West Carmen Rd concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a check book containing (blank) checks issued from Mid Missouri Bank. Investigation continuing. Anyone with information concerning this incident is encouraged to call the El Dorado Springs Police Department at 417-876-TIPS.

Officers responded to 507 South Jackson concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a 30” red Mongoose bicycle. Investigation continuing. Anyone with information concerning this incident is encouraged to call the El Dorado Springs Police Department at 417-876-TIPS.

Arrest: Stephen R Romesburg, 23, El Dorado Springs, on an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Court Warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of DWS with a cash or surety bond of $322.20. He was transferred to the Vernon County sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

Aug 20 – Arrest: Gina M Riboni, 40, El Dorado Springs, on an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Court warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charges of expired license plates and failure to show proof of insurance with a cash only bond of $412.50. She was extradited to the Vernon County sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

Aug 21 – Officers responded to 100 East 54 Hwy concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed that a male subject wearing a white shirt and white hat driving a blue vehicle left without paying for $34.95 in gasoline. Investigation continuing.

Officers responded to 608 North Jackson concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of scrap metal that was green in color. Investigation continuing.

Arrests: David M. Journot, 26, El Dorado Springs, on an active Vernon County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of no seat belt with a cash only bond of $10 and an active Vernon County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of failed to provide proof of insurance with a cash only bond of $137. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Jonathan M. Marshall, 25, El Dorado Springs, charging him with DWR. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 901 South Grand concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a 20” black and silverMongoose bicycle with silver front pegs. Investigation continuing. Officers responded to 100 East 54 Hwy concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a small pink,sparkly purse with a sparkly cross on the front of it. Suspect has been identified and the investigation is continuing.

Aug 22 – Officers responded to 109 West Lafayette concerning a reported assault. Suspect has been identified and investigation continuing.

Officers responded to 903 South Jackson concerning a reported person drinking in public. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Shelly J. Quigley, 32, El Dorado Springs, charging her with drinking in public. She was released on summons pending court appearance.

Aug 23 – Officers responded to 1301 East Industrial Pkwy concerning a reported assault. Suspect has been identified and investigation continuing.

Arrest – Justin M. Duncan, 26, El Dorado Springs, charging him with felony DWR and displaying motor vehicle plates of another person with cash only bond of $10,000. He was extradited to the Cedar County sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

Aug 24 – O fficers responded to 200 McCrary Circle Apt 21 concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a fish tank. The fish tank was later recovered and juvenile suspects have been identified and referred to the juvenile office.

Officers responded to 119 West Broadway concerning a reported peace disturbance. Suspect has been identified and investigation continuing.

Officers responded to 608 South Jackson concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a red,TAO TAO dirt bike and a Bassett hound. The bike and dog were later recovered and a juvenile suspect has been referred to the juvenile office for larceny.

Aug 25 – Officers responded to 227 West Gay concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a yellow five gallon gas can containing approximately five gallons in gasoline. Investigation continuing.

Aug 19 – Report of death at 25052 East A Hwy. Deputies sent to scene.

Report of a motor vehicle crash on Hwy 97 and Hwy B,. Deputy, Jerico Springs Fire Dept, MSHP and ambulance went to scene.

Report of stolen boat at RB Hwy. Deputy responded.

Aaron C Bone, Willard, arrested for larceny.

Jordan M Stephens, Bolivar, arrested for larceny.

Request for mutual aide from Barton County. BCSO requested mutual aid to help in search of an abducted juvenile. All Available staff from CCSO, all available fire/rescue units from Cedar County and all available ambulances responded to the call.

Report of a possible drunk driver at 19685 South 1475 Rd. Reporting party state that a truck drove through his yard, second call received on same vehicle, reporting parting stated a truck had just driven into her pond. Deputies arrived on scene and detained the male subject that was driving the vehicle.

Request for deputy at 105 East Logan-Jerico Springs, for domestic violence. Deputy gave a citation for peace disturbance.

William Pearson, Stockton, arrested for DWI.

Aug 20 – Report of theft from 1476 East 700 Rd. Reporting party states he had a credit card stolen and used.

Report of sign stolen from 1425 Rd and Hwy 32.

Aug 21 – Report of a disturbance at 5250 S 651 Rd

Aug 22 – Report of a non roll over motor vehicle crash on Hwy 97 and 1000 Rd. Deputies and MSHP went to scene. Report of a non injury motor vehicle at 125 Rd and south EE Hwy

Ambulance calls -CCMH to Freeman Joplin

Aug 23 – Report of attempted theft at 24633 E Hwy 32. Reporting party stated someone had attempted to steal the fuel out of his ATV, air compressor and gas cans.

Report of theft at Stockton City park.

Lane Arthur Dempster, Stockton, arrested for stealing.

Aug 24 – Report of property damage at Viking Bar.

Report of an ATV crash wit injury at 501 and 700 Rds. Deputy, Caplinger Mills first responders, MSHP an ambulance crew responded. Zachary Lee Helm, El Dorado Springs, arrested for DWI, assault in second degree, operating a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner and unlawful operating an all terrain vehicle upon highway.

Aug 25 – Report of domestic disturbance at 14785 North Orleans Trail. Deputy let reporting party leave the residence.

Report of domestic disturbance at 14785 North Orleans Trail. Reporting party stated her husband threw all of her stuff out on the front lawn and was afraid he would shoot her.
