Each year the 54 Cruisers award three scholarships to seniors living in the Cedar/Vernon County area or to children or grand-children of club members. We are pleased to announce the three recipients who will attend college this fall.

Payton Zartman, son of Ron and Susan Zartman and grandson of Ralph and Wilma Zartman, will attend Allen County Community College this fall. He will seek a degree in computer science.

Hunter Adams, grandson of Ron and Cathie Peters, has applied to the University of Kansas and Missouri State University. He will seek a degree from the Physical Education program and possibly consider furthering his education as a physical therapist in a sports minded facility.

Austin Rieder, son of Aaron and Julie Rieder of El Dorado Springs has applied to Ft. Scott Community College in Ft. Scott, KS. Austin will begin studies in General Agriculture this fall. His dream is to someday own his own fam and work in an agriculture related job.

Our best wishes to each of these young men as they pursue their dreams.

We want to thank area sponsors of the annual car show who make these scholarships possible year in and year out. Without their support we would not be able to make these scholarships a reality.
