From 7 – 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Lions Club on Jackson Street in El Dorado Springs, area residents will get the chance to help the Wounded Warrior Project.

An advance donation of $5 or $6 at the door will get you a breakfast of biscuits and sausage gravy and provide assistance to Wounded Warrior rehabilitation.

There are 40,000 plus military personnel returning from Iraq and Afghanistan on rehabilitation status. Rehabilitation approaches provided for the Wounded Warriors and families are uniquely structured to address and fulfill the mission of mind, body, economic empowerment and engagement.

In honor of the Wounded Warriors’ commitment and sacrifice for us, we have an opportunity this Saturday, Sept. 7, to extend our personal appreciation to them by attending the Lions Club Breakfast.

Your support will be greatly appreciated.
