Alberta, Glen and Russell Hays and Cheryl Bogardus worked for the NEVC Kids First Committee Saturday by serving lunch at an auction near Rich Hill. The community appreciates their efforts especially as there is no Parent-Teacher-Association and they are attempting to fill that void and purchase things for our school. They are going to do another one on Saturday, Oct. 5, and Sunday p.m., Oct. 6, and appreciate donations of pies, ham, hotdogs, buns, etc. The more we have donated the more we make. They could use more help..

For rental of the Walker Community Building, contact Walker City Hall 417-465-2230.

Saturday, Norman and Betty Radde went to Belton to help Norman’s cousin, Minnie Radde Spencer, celebrate her 90th birthday.
