News from Harwood and Schell City

Madalyn Crocker says there was around 1,000 at the Fourth of July celebration at the Schell City Park Saturday evening, July 25. She says the fireworks were really pretty. She says she would like to thank everyone that attended and brought food.

The Harwood Post Office is open Monday through Saturday from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. so people can get their mail, buy stamps and mail packages. The lobby is open 24 hours a day so people can get their mail out of their box.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, July 26, but I had not been able to get a hold of their pastor.

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, is still closed on Sunday as the Health Department has not said she can open her buffet. She closes at 10:30 on Saturday and is open at her regular time the other days.
