The Auxiliary’s funds from events and the hospital gift shop allow them to purchase items for the hospital. This year they purchased a blood pressure cuff for the Cardiac Unit, a wound chair for the Wound Clinic and two pressure reduction mattresses for a total of $9,412.95.
The hospital’s next event is the Christmas Bazaar on Nov. 22 in the Christian School Gym.
Since the Hospital Auxiliary’s beginning in 1979, they have raised $229,335.94 and spent 75,772 hours in volunteer work on behalf of the hospital.
