EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

Oct 6 – Officers responded to 115 West Spring concerning a reported assault. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Robert V. Jadlot IV, El Dorado Springs, on the probable cause of second degree assault. Officers applied for and received a Cedar County warrant charging him with second degree assault, armed criminal action and peace disturbance with a cash or surety bond of $5,000. He was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

Oct 7 – Officers responded to 406 South Park concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a red 22” Yard Machine push mower with a 5 hp motor reportedly stolen some time between Oct 3 and Oct 7. Investigation continuing. Arrest: Michael L. Hershberger, 37, El Dorado Springs, charging him with fugitive from justice due to an active Dawes County, NB warrant charging him with criminal non-support. He was transferred to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending ocourt appearance.

Oct 8 – Officers responded to 901 South Grand , El Dorado Springs High School, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a black Apple, iPad 2. Investigation continuing. Oct 8 – Officers responded to 105 West US Hwy, Smokers Outlet, concerning a reported larceny (shoplifting). Investigation resulted in the arrest of Elizabeth M. Cartwright, 33, Milo, charging her with larceny (shoplifting). She was released on summons pending court appearance.

Oct 9 – Officers responded to 504 East Fields, Lot B7, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a medium size John Deere yard utility trailer. Investigation continuing. Oct 10 – Officers responded to a 1000 South Main Street concerning a reported assault. Suspects have been identified, investigation continuing.

Arrests: Amy R. (Totsch) Inman, 33, Humansville, on an active Cedar County warrant charging her with probation violation on the original charge of possession of marijuana with no bond and an active Cedar County warrant charging her with probation violation on the original charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor with no bond. She was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending court appearance.

Jamie J. Berning, 20, Harwood, as a result of a traffic stop charging her with DWR and assault on a law enforcement officer. Officer applied for and received a Cedar County warrant charging Berning with four counts of assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, DWR and failure to display license plates with a cash only bond of $2,000. She was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

Officers responded to 115 East 54 Hwy. concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. Investigation revealed the theft of a woman’s ring described as having a square diamond with three diamonds on each side of the main diamond, with a silver band lined in gold. Officers responded to 805 North Jackson, El Dorado Springs Residential Care, concerning a reported disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Roger D. Harris, 60, Nevada, on an active Vernon County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of resisting/interfering with arrest/detention with a cash only bond of $100.He was extradited to the Vernon County Sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

Oct 11 – Officers responded to 100 East 54 Hwy. concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a small man’s, camouflage wallet containing approximately $250 in cash and the owner’s Missouri issued ID card. Investigation continuing. Oct 12 – Officers responded to 200 West McCrary Circle, Apt #23 concerning a check the well being. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Justin V. Sprouls, 30, Lamar, on the probable cause of violation of an order of protection. Warrant was later issued charging Sprouls with twenty-four (24) counts of volation of an order of protection, second offense, with a cash or surety bond of $5,000. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 805 North Jackson, El Dorado Springs Residential Care, concerning a reported assault. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Patricia A. Lasueur, 41, El Dorado Springs, charging her with third degree assault. She was released on summons pending court appearance.

Arrest: Kenneth C. Cerny, Jr, 40, El Dorado Springs, charging him with DWR. He was released on summons pending court appearance.
