Oct 14 – Arrests: Kendra L Berning, 33, El Dorado Springs, charging her with larceny (shoplifting) under $500. She was released on summons pending court appearance.

Katherine D Applebee, 36, El Dorado Springs, on two active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrants charging her with fail to appear per Court Order, per subpoena and failure to appear on the original charge of obstruction with a total cash or surety bond of $151.She was released on bond pending court appearance.

Officers responded to a reported larceny at 135 West Spring. Iinvestigation revealed the theft of a boy’s red and black 20” BMX style bicycle with spoke wheels. Investigation continuing. Oct 15 – Arrests: Jamie L Jacobs, 36, El Dorado Springs, on an active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant charging her with failure to appear per Court Order with a cash or surety bond of $533. Jacobs was released on bond pending court appearance.

Stephanie K Pierce, 44, El Dorado Springs, on an active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant charging her with failure to appear, per court order with a cash or surety bond of $610.50. Pierce was released on bond pending court appearance.

David E. Fowler, 21, El Dorado Springs, on an active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant charging him with failure to appear per court order with a cash or surety bond of $378.50. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 901 South Grand, El Dorado Springs R-2 School, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of silver Josten’s class ring, reportedly stolen between the hours of 10-11 a.m., on Oct 11. Investigation continuing. Oct 16 – Officers responded to 900 East 54 Hwy concerning a larceny from a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of $170.00 in cash. A report was taken and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information concerning this incident is encouraged to call the El Dorado Springs Police Department at 417-876-TIPS.

Arrests: Darron W. Johnson, 31, El Dorado Springs, on an active Vernon County warrant charging him with second degree burglary with a cash or surety bond of $5,000. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Nikki C. Grider, 32, El Dorado Springs, on an active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of peace disturbance by fighting with a cash or surety bond of $275.50. She was released on bond pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 135 West Spring, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a 20 oz bottle of Dr Pepper. Suspect has been identified and investigation continuing.

Oct 17- oofficers responded to 101 East 54 Hwy, O’Reilly Automotive, concerning a reported shoplifting. Investigation resulted in the probable cause arrests of Linda D Hall-Kopczynski, 53, and Shelli L. Smith, 49, both of Stockton, for the probable cause of stealing with further charges pending. Oct 18, officers applied for and received the following Cedar County warrants: Hall-Kopczynski was served with a Cedar County warrant charging her with forgery, two counts of stealing related offense (third offense) and two counts of theft/stealing (value of property or services less than $500) with a cash or surety bond of $10,000, and Smith was served with a Cedar County warrant charging her with forgery, two counts of stealing related offense (third offense) and two counts of theft/stealing (value of property or services less than $500) with a cash or surety bond of $10,000. Both were extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.

Oct 18 – Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 1100 South Main. Suspect has been identified and investigation continuing.

Oct 19 – Arrest: Kyle R. Ewing, 21, El Dorado Springs, charging him with DWR. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department and deputies of the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office responded to 204 East Walnut to execute a search warrant after receiving information of drug activity. Evidence of drug activity was located and collected at the residence. Investigation resulted in the arrests of Hope E Creekmore, 17, El Dorado Springs, Raymon A Rash, 20, El Dorado Springs, and, Kainnon T. Stone, 19, El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana. Oct 20, officers applied for, received and served the following arrest warrants: Creekmore was served a Cedar County Warrant charging her with possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance, keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, three counts of second degree endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana with a cash or surety bond of $10,000. Rash was served with a Cedar County warrant charging him with distributing a controlled substance near public housing, keeping or naintaining a public nuisance, three counts of second degree endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana with a cash or surety bond of $10,000 and Stone was served a Cedar County warrant charging him with keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, three counts of second degree endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana with a cash or surety bond of $10,000. All were released on bond pending court appearances. Juvenile suspects were also identified and referred to the Juvenile Office.

Oct 20 -Officers received information of drug activity at 509 North St. James. Officers applied for and received a search warrant. Officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department and deputies of the Cedar County Sheriff’s office served the search warrant. Evidence of drug activity was located and collected. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Christopher L. Price, 33, charging him with possession of drug paraphernalia with a cash or surety bond of $500. He was released on bond pending court appearance.
