Early in the 2nd quarter, EHS scored on an 11-yard run by James Dubois. Drew Carpenter’s PAT kick tied the score at 7-7.
AHS responded with a nine-play drive and scored to lead 14-7. AHS scored again before half to make it 20-7 at half-time.
EHS took control in the 3rd quarter limiting the Blackhawks to a total of seven plays. The Bulldogs put together an eight play drive and Brant Jones completed a pass to Cody Clark from 25 yards out to make it 20-13 as the 3rd period ended.
In the 4th quarter, Adrian wore out the depleted Bulldog team and dominated with two TD drives while controlling the clock. With six minutes left in the 4th quarter, Brant Jones again hit Cody Clark on a 10-yard TD pass.
Final score: Bulldogs – 20, Blackhawks – 35.
