Mary Donna (Sawyer) Wisner, 62, El Dorado Springs, passed away on Nov. 21, 2020, from COVID-19 complications at CMH Hospital in Bolivar. She was born on May 22, 1958, in Humansville,  to Billy Dean and Zella Lee (Simrell) Sawyer.

Mary grew up on the family farm in Cedar Springs. She attended and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1976. After graduation, she worked for many years at Scott’s Laundry, both downtown and next to Sibley & Thatch Grocery.

Mary was united in marriage to Robert Wisner in January 2001. Mary enjoyed being with her family and friends and always looked forward to the holidays and get-togethers. She also never let you forget her birthday. She was a client of Easy Living for many years and loved her staff members and Easy Living families.

Preceding Mary in death were her parents and one sister, Sharon Lee Keeton.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; one sister, Kallie Dean Hopkins, of Ozark; one brother, Jerry Dale Sawyer, of El Dorado Springs; one uncle, Henry Junior (Donnis) Sawyer, of Stockton; two nieces; one nephew; great-nieces; great-nephews; and several cousins. She is also survived by her two cats, Buddy and Calico.

Due to COVID-19 concerns and CDC recommendations, the family is not having a traditional funeral service for Mary Wisner. They will have a small private viewing by invitation only for immediate family only. The family invites anyone who wishes to pay their respects to join the funeral procession and graveside service. The procession will leave Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home on Friday, at 1 p.m., Nov. 27, traveling to Shady Grove Cemetery, located between Fair Play and Aldrich. Rev. Ron Marsh will officiate the graveside service at 2 p.m. under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home. The family requests that those attending observe social distancing and wear masks.

Pallbearers will be: Jerry Evans Jr., Richard Rose, Randall Chambers and James Marsten.
