News from Harwood and Schell City

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will hold her Christmas dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 17. She will give everybody that come for the buffet a glove. She will close for the rest of the day after to buffet is over. She will not serve breakfast that morning. She had her Sunday buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with each one getting gloves when they come in. She does not serve breakfast on Sunday morning.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman attended the Thanksgiving dinner at the American Legion on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26. It was put on by the Soup Kitchen (Christian Motorcycle Association.)

The Harwood Post Office is open Monday through Saturday from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. so people can get their mail, buy stamps and mail packages. The lobby is open 24 hours a day so people can get their mail from their box.
