Jewell and Helen Ellerman and Connie Locke had dinner at Dave’s Diner in El Dorado Springs Wednesday, Nov. 13. Jewell went to the eye doctor to get ready for surgery.
Connie Locke visited her parents, Ben and Gloria Locke in Nevada Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 13.
Those have dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen after church Sunday, Nov. 17 were Jewell and Helen Ellerman, Jeanie O’Brien, Frances Lewis, Gary Joe and Gayle Dunn, Eternity Dunn and Brent Baughn.
Ruth Ijams sons, Joe and David, of Texas, have been here visiting her and sisters, Jeanie O’Brien of Schell City and Peggy O’Brien of Grandview.
The community Ecumenical Thanksgiving service will be Sunday, Nov. 24 at the Schell City Christian Church. The service starts at 6 p.m. with a meal following the service. Everyone is invited.
Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Nov. 17. Brother Jon Caudle was the gust speaker. His sermon “Jesus is The Lord” was taken from II Corinthians 4:1-15
Church sermon was held at the Schell City United Methodist Church Sunday, Nov. 17. Lawrence Cripps had the service at Schell and Pastor Connie Locke went to Horton and Metz for the service and had communion. Lawrence is the lay speaker at Horton and Metz churches. Lawrence’s sermon ”Obey God and You Will Bless The World” taken from Genesis 12:1-8. Lawrence played a special on the piano, “Everything is Beautiful.” Sunday School was held before church. Jeanie O’Brien led the lesson “Beginning of Freedom” taken from Exodus 14:21-30.
