Thieves steal from disabled man

I want to make a statement to the person or persons who overnight (11th – 12th of December) broke into our shed, half a block from the school, and stole various items. YOU stole (three days before his 71st birthday), from a man with one leg in a wheelchair, fighting lung cancer, on a fixed income. How low is that?

Those tools were used to keep his riding mower running, because that is about the only thing left he can do and enjoys doing. You took away a bit of my security, adding to the already stress of caring for him. Not to mention, the added stress to him being upset that his tools are gone, but I know you do not care.

We will bounce back, we always do, and you will not win in that respect. I am a firm believer in “what goes around, comes around”. I am pretty sure your life is NOT going to get better from this. Karma will not be easy on you. SHAME ON YOU!

For those who are interested – a police report has been filed. Items on the list include an gas can with gas, an orange tank portable air compressor, a grinder, skill saw, tool box – various tools, two sets of sockets both 100 piece, 1/2 and 3/8, and a used only once come-along, plus there is the damage to the shed and door.

I hope anyone with any information will contact our local police.
