Everyone slowly getting well

Rockville United Methodist Church was by Pastor David Souza titled “Small things, Big difference” from Psalm 72: 1-7 10-14.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the home of Tom and Beverly Pelkey each Tuesday at 7 p.m. had eight present to study the Bible, we invite you to join us. Call Tom at 660-598-0477.

Sympathy to the Sharon Woody family, Sharon went to her heavenly home and will be greatly missed here on earth.

Several from the area attended funeral services for Frank Claiborne, Friday; we extend sympathy to the family.

Glad Sheri Suster was able to make it to church Sunday and on the mend.

Dixie Peterson is doing well and expects to be reading the county paper at her home in her chair this week.

June Marshall is slowly improving but still not up and running. Her visitors have been Sam and Julia Masten, Connie and Heidi.

Boy, I thought I had Mother Nature figured out. I wonder where the little birds go during the cold weather. Out on one of my nature ATV rides I found in our persimmon grove a flock of little birds eating frozen persimmons they were there for three days, I hoped they would stay longer but Mother nature must have her way. Do welcome the nice days we have had after those zero days.

Alex Keller spent the weekend in the Pelkey home attending the BIC meeting and Sunday morning church before returning home.

John and Julia Snethen are staying at home trying to catch up on all the honey do jobs but now John is on the side lines he pulled a muscle in his back so he is down until Feb. 6.
