Law enforcement activities

The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 94 requests for assistance this past week, Aug. 16-22. The requests were as follows:

Ambulance Assists 13, Animal Control 15, Assist Other Agencies 17, All Escorts 0, Nuisance 1, All Other Requests for Assistance 48, Summons 12.

Found Property is available for viewing, Monday through Saturday, by appointment only. A detailed description of the property you’re wishing to view must be specified when making the appointment. Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report

On August 17, 2021 officers responded to 1614 South Summer for a reported stolen bicycle. The bicycle was later recovered and returned to the owners. The investigation continues.

On August 17, 2021 officers arrested Diamond Marshall (23) of El Dorado Springs, for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Court Warrant charging her with Failure To Appear with the original charges of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.. Marshall was released on bond.

On August 18, 2021 officers recovered a motorcycle stolen out of Miller County, Missouri at 500 East Fields Street Trailer#25A.  A report was taking and the investigation continues.

On August 18, 2021 officers responded to 100 East US 54 Highway for a report of Shoplifting.  The investigation led to the arrest of Wesley McCowin Jr. (20) of El Dorado Springs for the probable cause of Shoplifting and Trespassing.  He was later released on summons.

On August 18, 2021 officers arrested Clifford Wood (59) of El Dorado Springs, for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Court Warrant charging him with Failure To Appear with the original charge of Peace Disturbance.  Wood was later released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

On August 18, 2021 officers arrested Kristina Spencer (37) of El Dorado Springs, for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Court Warrant charging him with Failure To Appear with the original charges of Failure to Register a Vehicle and No Operator’s License.  Spencer was later released after posting bond.

On August 19, 2021 officers responded to 311 East Spring concerning a request to speak to an officer resulting in the arrest of Robin Webb (29) of Fair Play for two active warrants out of Nevada for Failure to Appear on the original charges of traffic offenses with a bond of $224.00 combined cash only and an active Polk County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Trespassing with a bond of $100.00 cash only. She was released with summons pending a court appearance.

On August 19, 2021 officers responded to 200 McCrary Circle for a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of a Play Station 4 with a controller. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On August 19, 2021 officers responded to 116 West Oak Street for a report of a burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of a .50 caliber Black Power rifle, a Mossberg Shotgun, a Hi-Point .380 caliber pistol, jewelry, a bow, vehicle batteries, and a H&S Mini Maxx.   A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On August 20, 2021 officers responded to 1410 South Missouri 32 Highway concerning an assault. A report taken, suspect identified and the investigation continues

On August 21, 2021 officers responded to Casey’s in reference to shoplifting. The investigation revealed the theft of cigarettes, trail mix, a cookie and a slushie. A report taken and the investigation continues.
