Jewell and Helen Ellerman and Connie Locke ate at Dave’s Diner in El Dorado Springs Friday, Feb. 7 and then they went shopping.
Those having dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen after church Sunday, Feb. 9 were Pastor Connie Locke, Jewell and Helen Ellerman Bob and Cheryl Ellerman, Jeanie O’Brien, Ruth Ijams Gary and Gayle Dunn, Ann Urley, Frances Lewis, Joe Dunn and Matt Morrill.
Bob and Cheryl Ellerman of Edwards and Jewell and Helen Ellerman had dinner at Smith’s Restaurant in Collins Tuesday, Feb. 4.
Church service was held at the Schell City United Methodist Church Sunday, Feb. 9. Pastor Connie Locke’s sermon “What Does Discipleship Mean to You,” was taken from Matthew 5:13-20. They had communion. Lawrence Cripps, who is Lay speaker at Horton and Metz, attended service at Schell a Horton and Metz did not have service. Sunday School was held before church. Jeanie O’Brien led the lesson “Treat Everyone Equally” taken from James 2:1-13.
Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Feb. 9. Brother Jon Caudle’s sermon was taken from Matthew 5:1-20. They had Sunday School before church. They had three different age groups.
